Narcotics burned in Badghis
10.07.2007 844.550 Kg Opium and 10 Kg Hashish were burnt by Badghis Province Security Officials yesterday.

These narcotics were burnt after completion of legal processes under observation by provincial officials, security and detective agencies at 10 am in the morning, Gen. Ikramuddin Yawar, regional police chief told Afghanmania.

Government of Afghanistan is in effort to anticipate drug trafficking along with its cultivation, totally stop poppy in Afghanistan, shorten those hands which are polluted in this illegal business and bestow them to Law, Deputy Minister of Counter Narcotics Lt: General Muhammad Daud ((Daud)) said.

According to the United Nations survey, Last year Afghanistan produced over 90 percent of the world Narcotics.
