One child killed; eight wounded in eastern Afghanistan
09.07.2007 One child was killed, five ISAF soldiers and three local nationals were wounded in an insurgent attack yesterday in Kunar province, located in eastern Afghanistan.

A 10-year-old boy was killed as two insurgent rounds missed their mark in a village in Nari District, said in a statement released by ISAF.

Five ISAF soldiers and three local nationals were also wounded in the same attack.

All the wounded were evacuated to ISAF medical facilities and none of the wounded were reported as having life-threatening injuries.
Qari Zabihullah Mujahid, who identify himself as a Taliban spokesman, told AfghanMania by phone that they have killed six ISAF soldiers in this attack
