CELEBRATION OF WORLD FOOD DAY 16 OCTOBER 2006 15.10.2006 The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MAI), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Representation in Afghanistan, will celebrate the World Food Day (WFD) on October 16, 2006. This occasion will also recognize the 61st birthday of FAO. The theme chosen for World Food Day this year is “Investing in agriculture for food security” so that “the whole world will profit.” The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MAI) and FAO Representation in Afghanistan invites all media to the ceremony on Monday, 16th October 2006, 10:00 – 12:00 am at Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation Conference Hall, Jamal Mina, Opposite Kabul University. << | >> |
