AIESEC Presents a conference for FUTURE BUINESS LEADERS 02.04.2006 The Future Business Leaders Conference is presented by AIESEC in Afghanistan on the 16th and 17th of April. Over two days, students will have the opportunity to develop the skills and networks that they need to become entrepreneurial, socially aware future business leaders. The conference is proudly supported by the Afghan International Chamber of Commerce along with Afghan Telecom, CETENA GROUP, AIB Bank and internet company Paiwastoon. All of these supporters recognize that an investment in the learning of young people is an investment in the future of Afghanistan. At the Career Building Seminar, held at Kabul on the 16th of April, students will have the opportunity to participate in industry focused workshops that will help to prepare them to start a career. Topics will be focused around practical subjects such as "how to write a business plan" and "developing entrepreneurship". Also, local and international companies are invited to set up a stall at the careers fair to promote future employment opportunities. This will be the first "western style" Careers Fair, ever to be held in Afghanistan. At the Leadership Development Summit on the 17th of April, 150 high potential students will come together with businessmen and women from around Afghanistan to discuss the future of business in Afghanistan and the role of leadership in this future. This is a unique opportunity for students and business leaders alike to bridge a generation gap. The Leadership Development Summit will feature presentations from Dr Omar Zakilwal from AISA, Dr Hamidullah Farooqi from AICC, Mr Jamal Noorzaie CEO of Afghan Telecom and many more. Including the President of AIESEC International, Brodie Boland, visiting from the Netherlands especially for the conference. AIESEC is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential.
