Noor Wodjouatt, the First Afghan Artist at Kennedy Center
19.02.2006 For the first time an Afghan artist, Noor Wodjouatt, along with his group is going to present a live show at the Millennium stage of the
Kennedy Center on Feb 26th 2006 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. The group includes Lori Clark, who is a gifted dancer and has already performed for the 1st lady Laura Bush and other political figures, Broto Roy who is a creative Tabla player coming from India and is a known face in USA and Europe, Noor Wodjouatt's older brother Bassir Wodjouatt is a captivating Rubob player. These young and talented group will present you the best of their performance, the show is free of charge and it will be broadcasted live online on the Kennedy Center Millennium stage web site.
