U.S. military helicopter crashes in Afghanistan 25.09.2005 Five members of the crew of a U.S. CH-47 Chinook helicopter are dead after their aircraft crashed Sunday morning.Military officials are saying the crash was an accident, ruling out that it may have been forced down. However Abdual Latif Hakimi, who claims to speak for the Taliban, told the BBC, "We brought the helicopter down with an anti-aircraft rocket". The helicopter came down in the south east of the country near Deh Chopan in the southern Zabul province.A rescue mission is at the scene and officials have launched an investigation.Sunday's crash is the second in three months in war-torn Afghanistan. An MH-47 Chinook helicopter went down in June near the Pakistan border killing 16 soldiers on board. ps:wird dieser beitrag auch in der englischen rubrik von am veroeffentlicht?wenn nicht, dann koenntet ihr es machen? danke << | >> |
