Just like his U.S. counterpart Elvis Presley, Afghan singer Ahmad Zahir has a cult following despite his death nearly 27 years ago. The pop singer's albums have become top sellers at Afghanistan street kiosks in recent years and have pushed numerous young men in the country to take singing lessons to imitate Zahir, the Los Angeles Times reported.
