It looks like the year 2008 will be the year of couples, as not only the Abhi-Ash pairing will be seen, but now Bollywood’s much admired couple of Ajay Devgan and wife Kajol is set to feature in Devgan’s directorial debut – U, Me, Aur Hum. And after Aamir Khan’s stunning debut as director, Ajay Devgan will be following suit, as he tries to deliver yet another romantic comedy that promises to strike a chord with one and all.
The first encounter between Ajay (Ajay Devgan) and Pia (Kajol) was one of rarity on a cruise liner. For Ajay, the moment he laid eyes on the beautiful waitress, he was captivated. Unfortunately, the man makes a complete fool of himself by having a bit too much to drink. For Pia, she couldn’t have met a more obnoxious dreamer. For despite the countless admissions of love, Pia isn’t an easy catch by any stretch of the imagination. Hereon begins the romantic rendezvous between Ajay and Pia that promises to touch the heart and intrigue the mind.
The film has been written by Robin Bhatt, Sutanu Gupta, and Akash Khurana, with dialogue by Ashwini Dheer. The man behind the lense is Aseem Bajaj. Music is by maestro Vishal Bharadwaj, with lyrics by Munna Dhiman. The film’s cast includes Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Divya Dutta, Isha Shervani, Sumeet Raghavan, and Karan Khanna.
