hello all, of course I'm new here. My Name is Bill, I'm from the USA, I go to college, my hobbies are computers and running. The reason I joined these forums is that I'm interested in learning more about Al Qeada. I'm taking a class about AL Qeada and I'm not doing that great in it right now, I just think if I had more of a perspective of people actually living there I could understand it better. I'm not here to start conflict or anythnig but a better perspective of what's going on besides reading books and listening to a professor lecture. I hope to make friends, learn, and pass the class as well.

i don't think this is the right place to come and find out about alqeada and thier living prespective.. simply because most of the memebers here don't know anything about alqeada and haven't lived with alqeada ruling type of government.. they are people who live in u.s and europe.. if someone is from afghanistan.. still they won't be able to relate to ur question of living under alqeada government.. afghanistan was taken over by taliban not alqeada... taliban weren't afghans they were mixed group of people from arabic countries, pakistan, and other neighboring countires of afghanistan..

first of all if u have noticed by the name.. this is a website from afghans.. people from afghanistan.. now it is ur mistake or intention to relate afghans with them.. god knows that..however, i feel effended if someone relates us afghans with taliban and alqeada.. u might wana try a website that is from arabic countries.. we share the same religion which is muslim but  culture wise and name wise and location wise we are far far away from arabs and other arabic countries..

i would give u a little information about the time that taliban were in afghanistan... i was there for a couple years.. maybe this would help u.. but it was taliban in afghanistan not alqeada.. quite honestly i don't even know the difference between them.. as i hate to fallow news and politicians...

taliban took over afghanistan in 1996.. they weren't afghans..or people from afghanistan.. they were a group of mixed people from pakistan, arabic countries, chechenia, and soo on.. most of them were pakistanis because they were speaking urdu and punjabi between themselves. (the onces in kabul city where i was living) the living condition was geting worse under thier government.. raised prices, lower salary for workers, schools  and jobs for men only...and every week there was someone who would have got hanged from the aligations of being communist and traiters.. most of these people were school teachers who were greatly influancing the students..

hope this would help u.. however, i would get effended if someone comes and say that we afghans are taliban or part of alqeada.. because we have never been and we will never be..
