hey ppl

I just wanted to know if it seriously true about having a kari. If you don't know what it is, Its a supertious belifes where you can't have something or make something or even do something because it brings you bad luck. Like for an example : for us makeing turshi is a karik or having a live fish in the house is bad because it might start a fight or something. but really want to know how this is possible.

well afgprincees90 jan i don't have faith on that but i know alot of ppl who do lots and lots of ppl not only muslem but all other if you take a survay probbly 50 % of world ppoulation might belive it too but ont thng i have noticed though ppl who belived kari things happen to them (ie if somebody belive travlling on monday is bad for them if they travel on moonday something happens to them but it just could be a coincedinate that it happend the same time bt hear you go

also true. i even hread that cutting your hair on wednesday is good or cutting ur nails on wednesday is bad. see these supertious are in a way funny but i know some of the consicuences you have to pay when doing something that you have a karik. Like for an example my cuzin was a few months old and one day my aunt made turshi. (let me know if you don't know that is) and when she finished making it my cuzin started crying. she cried for 3 days and wouldn't stop ever! so when my grandfather (may he rest in peace)was praying he got up and took the trushi and thew it away. after it was thrown away my cuzin stoped crying and said that we have a karik in making turshi in our family. the whole reason why i posted this was "why". that is what i don't understand. and matty if you don't belive in theses thing think for a moment. the story i told you just know was true. Iam not here to prove a point but asking if you know or anyone know why we have karik.

afgprincess jan for the start i know trushi ( by the way don't eat to much trushi trush mikoni) just a joke so take it easy. i did not say that it is not true and if you notice i said alot belive in it but what i meant in i dont belive it (ie do not do that that day ......etc) i have found this strange link ppl who belive in this things happen to them (ie your story ) but as i dont belive in any karik so it does not happen to me or maybe any way me saying i dont belive in it does not mean it is not true or it does not exist. these things omen as they say it in english, my great aunti they would not wash any clothes on saturday cause the first time they washed their well colapsed and when day washed something else another saturday another thing happend in our house they washed any time nothing happend so why it is happening i dont know it could be just a coincedince or thats the way it is if you belive it something happpens if you dont  nothing happens.

I guess i understand what ur saying some ppl i asked basically never really did have an answer they just said they had one.

by the way i used to make great turshi everyone in my family loved it and its not trush for ur info. lol

but here is a question i also want to know: Is istakhara (weither a person is meant for you or not) true or is it some supersition. the mullah here in New york said its true but when i went to another masjid in New york the mullah said its just supersitions. Is it an afghan culture or muslims do it also?

well afgprincess90 jan estakhara is as you have found it some mullahs belive it and some do not now for ppl that do not know estkhra ( it works the same as falle hafiz the only deffrence is they use quran for guidence on the matters ) some times about marrige traveling all sort of things.

now hopfully you can read dari check the second verse and for ppl who cant read dari but can read it with english elphabet ( har gah ka del ba eshq dahi khosh dami bovd      der kar khair hajet hich estakhare nist ) on that bombshell i think i gone go with hafez on that

and the other funny thing i was once become obsessed with falle hafiz one week all the fall i took only this poem keep poping up

now if you check the last vers which says

حافظ اسرار الهی کس نميداند خموش        ازکه ميپرسی که دور روزگارانراچه شد

hafez asrare elahi kas namidand khamosh       az ka miporsi ka dori rozgaean ra cha shod

so who are you asking the question i leave it to you afgprincess jan some say it is true same say superstition it is just who will you belive i have not taking one and if i found the right girl i wont take it ppl do this in iran alot some so obsessed that they even wont drink water with out it let alone somebody meant for some one well take your pick

for your info i read,write,and speak dari. so i understanded clearly.

The reason i brought this istakara was because one of my friend had a marika for her. the marika person was a good person for her. they even did istakara and turned out to be good but the one problem was the grooms family didn't want to have a nika. they said that they have a karik when having a nika. I thought it was so stupid of them and its also a sin as well by living as a birde an groom with no nika. Now my friend is stuck between the two familys. Why because if she lets him go(which we are all praying for her to do) she will be loseing someone like her soulmate if she doesn't let him go she will still have a bad name. she really likes him a lot but doesn't know what to do.

can a istakara be used in money or is it haram?

hey matty if your looking for a bride the best place to look is in iran. i went their last year for my cuzins shinikhury (engagement party)and there are alot of ladys still single. most of them we even after my 4 awars(borther-in-laws)!.lol.just to let you know.

aval salaam, hey afgprincess90 jan at first i did have belive on this things coz my mum always say's ohhhhhhhhh this happen so this will happen but one day i went out with my friend va labim parid so my mum said it if this happen there will be a fight thet day and i was so worried that i didnt even understand how did i get home coz i am so scread of fighting so then i told my friend this is true coz she dont believe it then she told me just one day if this hppened again da gamesh nasho va shogom bad nazan and i primiss nothing would happen so it happend another day va ma da gamesh nashodom so i sow nothing happend that day. my point is when u believe them it will happen just tavakol dashtabashim da khoda ien khorafatat chi hast dega baba.
