friend who just had come from Iran with almost no English luckily due to his good looks found a little hotty American girlfriend. Once she was at his house and he had cooked "Aash" (soup)for her.
She really liked the "Aash" and asked for the ingredients. Here is his description of ingredients as he directly translated Persian stuff into English.
My dear, here arrre vhat my moder puttt in this Persian soup: yellow wood (zar chube), Indian stamp ( tamr ehendi), wet blood (tarkhun), wet-e (tarre), my loving wind (ba'demjun), flower of a cow's tongue(gol ga'v zabun).
Later their relationship was going down the tube.
He said to her,
"Look, I very very love you, let me eat your liver, but over that donkey(ba'la'khare) my eyes don't drink any water.Light my homework (taklif e man ra' rowshan kon!)."
