yea about show it last for some 8 months from thousands of boys and gals some ten were selceted as an afghan idol then step by step it camed to the winner but that was really nice show. every year it starts now it start again in kabul then goes for some provinces i hope this year we may see the best singers caz last year was the first experience for the ppl and this year i am sure there would be excellent voices.

i live in fremont california where we hve lot of afghans here. we hve three to five tv chanels all like one hour each different times and days of week. one of the tv chanal which is called afghanistan tv on May announce that they are going to start a show just like afghan stars. people who are intersted in singing plz contact us. the owner of this tv channal is a dirctor camraman and also an actor. he has made a few movies in the past he is really well known. i have always wanted to be part of a show just like afghan stars. so i contact him and i was the first one in his list. he said that i should call him in two weeks. in the tv program he also announced the judges for the show. he named ustad shah wali wali (tarnasaz), najim nawabi, and habib qaderi the judges.

in two weeks when i called him he said u r the ony one who has called me to be in this program and we can't just do this with only u so we called off. instead he offered me to be an actor in his new movie that he is making. he wanted to give me the main role and three thousond doller with a ticket to afghanistan. he wanted to make this movie in america and afghanistan. i turn it down i said i can't cuz of my college. i just don't like acting i love singing and playing music instruements but don't like to acting.

ya iam sure that program is gone get better becuase now not olny me there are alot of other young guys and girls who wantes to take part in these kind of shows. one thing is cetain that we afghans have talant but we just need a litte starting guid.
