If the gossip mills are to be believed then weeding chants may well be in the offing for Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai who have been reportedly dating. Rumors are afloat that the two stars will take the plunge soon. It has been reported that Amitabh's younger brother, Ajitabh Bachchan recently visited well known astrologer Chandrashekhar Swami in Bangalore this Friday with the horoscopes of the young couple. Bachchans are said to regularly consult the astrologer and in the past Amitabh Bachchan has gifted cars to the Swami.
Aishwarya attended Abhishek Bachchan's birthday bash on February 9 in Mumbai and Abhishek was reportedly by her side, holding hands, all the time. Abhishek offered a piece of the birthday cake to Ash after his parents. Both the stars were seen dancing together the entire evening and Abhishek was reported to have dragged Ash back to the floor every time she tried to leave.
Abhishek and Aishwarya spent a month together in Jodhpur shooting for Umrao Jaan, which is where their romance is reported to have sparked. They will be working together in Dhoom II and in director Mani Ratnam's next film. Earlier they starred together in Rohan Sippy's Kuch Na Kaho and Raj Kanwar's Dhai Akshar Prem Ke both of which did not fare well at the box office. They did the popular item song, Kajra Re, in Bunty Aur Babli together with Amitabh Bachchan.
About a month ago there were reports that Aishwarya and her boyfriend of more than three years, actor Vivek Oberoi, had split.
Abhishek Bachchan has finally got a grip over his film career with four recent hits. Aishwarya Rai too is in the process of reviving her career. She was reported to have asked for extra time from Dhoom director to shape up herself for wearing bikinis. Keeping the career interests of both the stars at this time it is unlikely that a marriage will take place soon.
