Could use some help<3

Hello dearies!  I haven't started a topic of my own yet, and thought I'd ask for some help if you all would be so kind as to help me<3  I have some questions to ask regarding afghan culture and what is appropriate and who better to ask than the lovely AM members?

I was wondering what would be appropriate to bring as a gift say to a birthday, wedding, anything.  And if I were to host a party, what foods should I serve to accomodate my afghan friends?  certain things I should keep in mind or watch out for?  what is appropriate and what isn't?  I really don't want to offend anyone and would like everyone to enjoy the festivities, and would be more than glad to go the extra mile to make my friends feel cared for and thought of.

I would really appreciate any comments, and thanks so much to all who reply! I really appreciate it!<3<3<3

Very intersting post . . .

Ill try my best to answer ur questions qand.

Cant answer ur question with the appropriate B day/ wedding gift bz. . .  It depends for whom and what age. But just to be on the safe side, a Gift Card is the best gift to give. That way he or she can go and spend it on what ever they want.

Ok now since u are not an Afghan ..  .for food , I say just marinate some chicken , cook it in the oven , make some nice salad and some white rice. Voila ur all set!

Now offending and not offending part. Qand just go with the flow. Once ur in the  crowd , then u can decide .

Hope it helped in any way .
