The Police of the Pakistani city of Bhakkar situated in the province of Punjab arrested two men from the Darya Khan area and charged them with eating flesh of dead bodies. Both the men later admitted that they had been feeding on dead bodies of both humans and dogs since the past 10 years.
The police were tipped off with the existence of such men by the relatives of a 24 year old girl, Saira who had died on Saturday night and was buried in a graveyard located in Kahawarh Kallan a small town located in Bhakkar. When the relatives went to the grave to offer prayers after the burial they found that the grave had been opened and Saira’s dead body was not inside. They immediately informed the local police who began instant investigation which led them to follow the footprints located near the grave after which the police was able to locate the habitat of Arif and Farman and arrest them, who later admitted their crime.
The house of Arif and Farman had several other leftover body parts from various other dead bodies and a large collection of coffins as-well.
